Todd Dunning

Todd has been involved in the NorCal motoring scene for 30 years with the Blackhawk All British Motor Show, Mini Owners of America San Francisco and Mini Owners of America Los Angeles. He competed in SCCA Regional Course Rallies including the Northwest Classic Rally and Into the Night Rally under the Cascade Sports Car Club and Santa Barbara SCC. He has completed two Classic Mini restorations and one is his daily driver. In the offroad world he worked with TRD and Icon Vehicle Dynamics for SEMA projects designing and showcasing new forced induction and engine management solutions.

Professionally Todd has been a CEO, CTO, web engineer and founder with several startups specializing in UX and ML/AI integration. His first startup in 2000 was Buylink, an early B2B marketplace. His most interesting position has been Chairman and Lead donor of the Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary

Norm Nelson

Norman Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive, racing, and executive sectors. He founded NAK Engineering Inc., a company specializing in large bore diesel engine parts and services, which achieved Nuclear Regulatory Commission qualification, including refurbishing the NASA Stennis Space Center Rocket Testing Facility, and the infamous Howard Hughes/CIA Spy Ship Glomar Explorer.

Nelson built and raced a 1966 MG Midget in SCCA events, served as an SCCA driving instructor, and drove RDC (Racing Driver Club) Enduro. He has also been heavily involved in event planning and organizing, including the Magical Mystery Mini Tour and the Stormin Norman’s Mini Thunder at Thunderhill raceway.

As a motoring event executive Norm has been behind countless events including Board member and CEO of the Redwood Empire Minis. As the Executive Vice President of the MINI Motoring Club of America, he played a key role in establishing the club's national presence and providing resources to local clubs. Nelson owns a collection of classic Minis. His commitment to the car community extends to his editorial work for Motorwerks Magazine and Miniology podcast as well as his active participation in multiple car clubs.

Gene Karshenboym

Google Auto’s Head of Partner Engineering. Previously, Gene was the CEO of Phiar Inc, an augmented reality and automotive computer vision company. Gene also sits on boards and advises various technology companies, especially in the AI, computer vision and automotive space. Outside of work, he is an avid automotive enthusiast with a deep interest in restoring and preserving European cars from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Ian Flanagan

Ian Flanagan is the regional territory manager for Hagerty in the San Francisco Bay area. Joining Hagerty in 2015, he has worked his way from the Hagerty member service center to now managing one of the most active collector car markets in the United States. 

 Having grown up in North Yorkshire, in the UK he has an appreciation for all things British and honestly believes that despite the reputation for poor build quality and terrible electrics, he will always have something British leaking oil in his garage.

 From his time with Hagerty, Ian brings with him a deep understanding of the commercial insurance and motorsports industry and from his time hill climbing vintage Minis he brings an unparalleled enthusiasm towards this project.
