WestRing is a proposed family-friendly recreation park in the Bay Area.
Visitors recreate with their cars, motorcycles or bicycles on the single-lane recreational road - a safe, controlled environment off the public roads.
There are 3 small amenities cottages.
The environment is maintained sustainably and naturally as a wilderness park.
What WestRing is Not
It’s not a car race track. However, bicycle races can be held.
How does WestRing address environmental impact concerns?
Small footprint: 1 to 2 acres built on, mostly a grass field. Minimum of 150 acres as a buffer.
Natural Setting Preservation: The design mimics a natural parkland, preserving the landscape's aesthetic and integrating the venue harmoniously with its surroundings.

How will WestRing manage noise?

What about the impact on local traffic?
WestRing anticipates minimal traffic impact due to several factors:
Low Traffic Volume: The project expects only 20-50 visitors per day, significantly less than the traffic generated by a small restaurant.
Strategic Location: Situated within a 1 to 2-hour drive from major population centers, the site is designed to be accessible without necessitating overnight stays, thereby reducing potential traffic congestion.
How does WestRing ensure safety?
Safety is paramount at WestRing, with comprehensive measures in place:
No more than one vehicle per road section at one time. Bicycles are the exception.
Vehicle Safety: The project will adhere to stringent safety protocols, including the use of helmets, seat belts, and technical inspections for all vehicles.
Operational Safety Measures: Advanced roadway management software and hardware will be employed to monitor incidents and vehicle positions, enhancing overall safety.
How will WestRing comply with local regulations?
WestRing is dedicated to full compliance with all local zoning, land use, and development regulations. This includes:
Conditional Use Permit (CUP): If necessary, WestRing will apply for a CUP, including participating in public hearings to address community concerns.
Environmental Review: In compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an environmental review will be conducted, with an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared if required.
