Paddock and Garage
Phase 3 includes a covered paddock and garages, and fuel and EV charging optionally. The revenue model includes usage rental of facilities. Longer term, service operators such as mechanics could lease portions of the garage - a model that is working at Sonoma Raceway’s upper annex for example.
Garages
The garages serve a dual function as both day use facilities for light maintenance, inspection and repair, and for service providers if demand dictates. The prospect of car storage has been raised as well - as long as risk, security and liability can be handled.
Paddock
Covered paddock stalls available for day use.
Chargers
Our rural location and EV test facility makes chargers an important addition. In California we can take advantage of rebates for installing commercial charging stations for public use, up to $8,000 per charger. Some counties also offer cash incentives.
Our incentive to add Superchargers is to bring exsting EV traffic to the venue in off-time periods when no events are being held.
Fuel services
If demand dictates WestRing can sell high octane fuels. A truck is the first and easiest method, since fuel station construction is costly and probably prohibited by zoning. This is commonly done at small airports.
